strategies to care for yourself while on the clock, so you can feel your best around the clock!
Relative to our evolution, sedentary and static jobs are essentially in their infancy. As a result, it is no secret that they carry with them an increased likelihood of musculoskeletal pain. Furthermore, they can also have a negative impact on other systems of the body such as metabolism, mood, and cognitive function. The good news is we all have the power within us to combat these issues with simple strategies that we can access anywhere and anytime. We just, for the most part, have not been shown specifically and thoroughly how. Though telecommuting has its own specific challenges, it also has qualities built in that you can take advantage of to prevent pain from arising and to perform your best both on and off the clock!
